April 25, 2011 is seeking an effective, experienced COO to build the internal capacity and organizational systems that will help lead our team during an exciting period of organizational growth. The Board of Directors and the CEO are looking for a mission-focused, strategic, and process-minded leader with experience scaling an organization, leading a management team, and developing a performance culture among a group of talented, diverse individuals.

The COO will partner with the CEO, leading the organization’s internal operations. The COO must be a leader who is able to help the staff deliver measurable results and advance the vision and mission of our organization. Importantly, a successful COO will have the skills, sensitivity, and personal confidence to tap into the power that each member of the team brings to the mission. While it is essential that the COO bring efficient and effective systems to increase the productivity of the organization, it is also critical the team retain the creativity necessary to continue innovating and leading our field.
